What is the difference between ISTA-P 3.75.0.400 and 3.72.0.300?
3.75.0.400 is the latest version with the most current programming database and latest E-series I-level firmware coverage. It is the recommended version for all ISPI Next environments.
Does ISTA-P also work for F-, G- or I-series?
No – ISTA-P only supports BMW E-series, MINI R-series, and Rolls-Royce RR1. For F/G/I-series, ISTA+ is required.
Which diagnostic interface is required?
ICOM Next is the recommended primary interface. ICOM A2/A3 is supported for K-Line and D-CAN. K+DCAN cable is only partially usable in ISPI Next – ICOM hardware is strongly recommended.
What is an ISPI Next license and where can I get one?
The ISPI Next license is PC-bound and required separately. It is not included in this package. No transfer is possible after a hard drive change.
What are IBAC codes?
IBAC codes are factory authorization codes for protected operations such as navigation FSC or retrofit options. They are natively accessible via the ISPI Next framework – a clear advantage over standalone loader builds.

Free remote support applies exclusively to software installation. We are not trained mechanics or BMW specialists and do not offer technical support for vehicle issues.

E-Series Vehicle Coverage:
E36, E38, E39, E46, E52, E53, E60/61/63/64, E65/66/67/68, E70/71/72, E81/82/84/87/88/89, E83, E85/86, E90/91/92/93. MINI R50–R61. Rolls-Royce RR1.
ICOM Next: Recommended primary interface – supports K-Line, D-CAN, MOST, DoIP-Ethernet. Full compatibility with all E-Series control units.
ICOM A2 / A3: Supported for K-Line and D-CAN. For multimedia units (CIC, CCC, NBT) via MOST bus, an ICOM-B adapter is required.
F/G/I-Series: Not supported in ISTA-P – programming via ISTA-D within ISPI Next.
Important Notes
For professional users with ECU programming knowledge only. F-, G-, and I-series are not supported. ISPI Next license is PC-bound – no transfer possible after hard drive change. Digital product – no refunds after download.
