With the BMW Navi Update ROUTE 2026, you can bring your BMW navigation system up to date. The current BMW map update for EntryNav ROUTE contains new roads, traffic routing, and points of interest for all of Europe – including the FSC activation code, simple activation via VIN directly in the vehicle, no workshop visit required.
How the installation works
1. Prepare a 32 GB USB stick with the map material
2. You will receive the navigation data + FSC code from us – unzip the files with WinRAR directly onto your USB stick
3. Insert the USB stick into the vehicle – the system will automatically begin installing the new map material
4. Follow the instructions on the display – the update will start by itself
Note: A Windows PC is required – Mac is not compatible.

Which update fits my BMW?
Check your current navigation version directly in your vehicle. If WAY, EVO, LIVE, JOY, West, Next, MOTION, MOVE, PREMIUM, or USB is displayed there, the corresponding update will fit. If your system says EVO, then only EVO will fit. Each BMW navigation system is permanently assigned; other versions are not compatible.

What is an OEM FSC code?
The OEM FSC code is mandatory for activating your BMW navigation update. It ensures the navigation software functions correctly and is included in the scope of delivery. The update will not work without this code. The FSC code is generated based on your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and is permanently valid.

How do I find out if my BMW has the ROUTE navigation system?
In the vehicle, go to: Navigation → Map → Settings → Version information. If it says "ROUTE" there, this update is the right one. If in doubt, simply send your VIN – we will check for free.
What is the difference between ROUTE and NEXT?
ROUTE is for BMW models with the EntryNav HU-B system, NEXT is for models with the NBT navigation system. They are not interchangeable – each vehicle has exactly one permanently assigned system.
What is the difference between the WEST and EAST version?
WEST covers Western Europe fully, EAST covers Eastern Europe fully. Choose the version that matches your driving region.
How long does the installation take?
Between 30 and 90 minutes. The ignition must be switched on – the vehicle does not need to be running.
Is the FSC code also valid for the next update?
Yes – the FSC code remains permanently valid for all future ROUTE updates until 2030 and beyond.
How quickly will I receive the download link?

The update only works with the matching navigation version – ROUTE is not compatible with other versions. The navigation device must be in perfect working order. Does not work on retrofitted, defective, or inactive navigation systems.
