Which update is right for my BMW?
Check your current navigation version directly in the vehicle. If it shows WAY, EVO, LIVE, JOY, West, Next, MOTION, MOVE, PREMIUM or USB, the corresponding update is suitable. If yours says EVO – then only EVO is suitable. Each BMW navigation system is permanently assigned, other versions are not compatible.

How do I find out if my BMW has the MOTION system?
Go to: Navigation → Settings → Version Information in your vehicle. If it says "MOTION" or "CIC MID", this update is suitable. If in doubt, simply send your VIN – we'll check for free.
What is the difference between MOTION and MOVE?
MOTION and MOVE are two different BMW navigation systems for different vehicle models and model years. They are not compatible with each other. Each vehicle has exactly one permanently assigned system.
How long does the installation take?
Installation takes between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the data volume. The ignition must be switched on – the vehicle does not need to be running.
Is the FSC code also valid for future updates?
Yes – the FSC activation code is valid for life (until 2099) and can be used for all future MOTION map updates.
How quickly will I receive the download link?
After payment is received and VIN is checked, you will usually receive the download link and FSC code by email within a few hours.
Does the update also work with Mac?
No. Only a Windows PC is required to prepare the USB stick. macOS and Linux are not supported.
