With the BMW Navi Update MOVE 2024, you can update your BMW navigation system to the latest version. The current BMW map update includes current road maps for Europe, improved route guidance, and updated points of interest – including FSC activation code, digital download, no workshop visit necessary.
Installation – Step by Step
1. Prepare a USB stick with at least 16 GB of storage
2. Download the navigation data and extract it to the USB stick
3. Plug the USB stick into the vehicle – the system automatically recognizes the update and starts the installation
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
Windows PC required – does not work with Mac. Basic computer skills are assumed.

Which update fits my BMW?
Check your current navigation version directly in the vehicle. If WAY, EVO, LIVE, JOY, West, Next, MOTION, MOVE, PREMIUM or USB is displayed, the corresponding update will fit. If you have EVO – then only EVO will fit. Each BMW navigation system is permanently assigned; other versions are not compatible.

How do I find out if my BMW has the MOVE navigation system?
In the vehicle, go to: Navigation → Map → Settings → Version Information. If "MOVE" is displayed, this update is suitable. If in doubt, just send your VIN – we'll check for free.
What is the difference between MOVE and MOTION?
MOVE and MOTION are two different BMW navigation systems for different vehicle models and model years. They are not compatible with each other – each vehicle has exactly one permanently assigned system.
Is the FSC code also valid for future updates?
Yes – the FSC code remains permanently valid and can be used for all future MOVE map updates.
How long does the installation take?
Between 30 and 60 minutes. The ignition must be switched on – the vehicle does not need to be running.
What happens if I buy the wrong update?
The navigation system automatically recognizes whether the update is compatible. An incorrect update cannot be installed and will not cause any damage. Send us your VIN – we'll check for free.
